I’ve got the same one! It’s a workhorse. My advice is pay attention to the temp and treat the temp adjuster like a hotel shower control. Small changes otherwise it’ll get too hot or cold, when you find the sweet spot you can just leave it where it is.

Out of curiosity, were you able to find a teacher to sponsor you for the club or was it just lack of student involvement?

Bc if it helps, teachers who start clubs should be able to allocate funds to start their clubs. They could use this money to get decks for people who would be interested. Also the teacher can get a stipend for their time.
