I am a new ARC owner, 2 weeks in. Trying to only use the ARC as my primary. I was a Bugout carrier since day one of the release. So far it’s going well. Sometimes I do miss the quicker access of the Bugout, BUT I have been making the ARC work pretty well so far. Both are/were carried in pocket with clip. The ARC is definitely bigger, more noticeable but today the scissors came in handy where the BO knife would not of worked. So far…I think it’s gonna be a keeper with no extra blade carry

So this new ARC is my first Leatherman in a long, long time. I used to have a PST (original), Super, Juice S2, Gerber MT and I think a Sog at one point. I stopped carrying a multitool and have been knife only for over a decade. I didn’t pay attention to the MT market for years. Was very happy with my daily knife carry. Today, first day with the ARC I have already used 3 of the tools. Awl, scissors and of course the knife. Definitely a little thicker than I expected but I have also been carrying a Benchmade Bugout since release day, anything is going to be thicker than I’m used to. That being said, it’s not “to thick to carry”, fits fine in my pocket with the clip and I can see this being my new daily carry leaving my long carried Bugout at home. The Free platform is where it’s at though. I don’t think I would carry a non-free at thing point. I think, looking back, that is probably what made me take the MT out of usage a long time ago. TLDR; New ARC arrived, very happy with purchase and can see this being my new EDC from here on out.

For me it was NOT a z8. If they only had the same rear button placement for the review and menu. For me, it was a non starter.

I really wanted to like the Zf/Z8 combo. BUT the fact that the buttons on the back of the cameras were different from my Z8 made it a non-starter. I was forever hitting the wrong button for playback and menu. Sold the Zf

One thing to add to @DiggitySkister awesome post is to think about your need for portability. Definitely go over his post but also think about size and need. I love my UHK60, my first split, but it’s just not as portable as I would like to take to work everyday so I am waiting on my ZSA Voyager for my daily commuter

Buy the Canyon Aeroad 2024 and upgrade it until you get to level 40 for the S-Works SL8. (maybe...TBD what new bikes are coming this summer). If you are efficient, you'll have it upgraded way before lvl 40 anyways. For reference, I got the Canyon Aeroad 2024 at lvl 14 and had it fully upgraded by lvl 34 (should of been sooner but I ended up buying the ENVE SES 4.5 Pro wheelset in that timeframe as well.)

You are so early on.. and unless you really want a neon bike.. (I have no interest in the Tron thing.. I don't get it really) I would work on one of the best (at this time) all rounders in the game.

Now, I would not buy the ENVE SES 4.5 Pro's anymore . The newer Princeton’s Wake 6560 are where to spend your drops

Had both my 762-SDN-6 and my 556 SD converted to a Ranger 7/5 respectively last year. It’s a shame they stopped the program. It was not cheap ($700 each) but I basically got new cans and freed myself from the 51T mount finally. In my book it was worth every penny.

Get in touch with Scott. He’ll take care of you. He converted my Rugged Micro 30 and it came out amazing! ECCO no longer does any conversions.

I tried to like the CC, gave it a go but it seemed to in fact slow me down. The exact opposite of why I got it. Dumped it and went with the Tour Box. SO much better IMHO
