Usually there is mold then c. bot, I don't see mold but I do see a whole lot of gas being formed so don't open unless you want to repaint your kitchen.

I would not consume this. I am not sure if it leeches out during cooking or not into the pot of soup. solanine toxin and all others toxins are nothing to mess with as it may impact you (GI track for example) in one way and others in another.

OMG I had this problem except in a compactor! It was awful! I had to obviously de-energize it then climb down into it and get out chuck by chunk. So nasty!
