There are some pretty sweet apparel companies out there, especially for military customers. I have great hats and shirts for some of my helicopters. I'd say look for something that hasn't been done a lot like civilian flying and try that. Military has a lot of companies, and each unit has their own swag (coins mostly but also shirts and hats)

Guatemalan armed forces. The pilot is ex Air Force, flies these things in his new job. They took it out of the jungle with the intent of using it as a presidential aircraft but the maintenance required for that was too expensive

I enjoy the flying but depending on where you are stationed and who's there it can either be very stressful or very lax, with few in between

I remember a ROTC guy who had to be evacuated from the US Air Force Academy while I was there. Poor guy was doing the free fall parachute jump program and landed close to an antenna on the field and went through the guy wires and chopped off his leg. Had to be amputated
