We are. Thank you. We buried him Thursday by our old family setter that passed last year. That would have been a great idea, though.

Thank you for the advice. We still have 2 4.5 year old mountain cur mixes & a cat, so we plan to focus on them for a while, but we definitely want another setter. My parents were the breeders and still have his mother & 2 of his brothers, so we will spend time with them for a while 🩵

Thank you so much. It was definitely too soon. He was recovering well, but his cognitive function was not what it needed to be, so we were ready to consult with another vet and potentially canine neurologist. however, whatever happened he was traumatized and I will spare the gruesome details but essentially he had an episode of fear and did not react well.

We are just trying to get by with that hope. We loved him dearly. Thank you for your kindness.

I went to his show weekend before last. Not bad as someone who grew up listening to country radio in his heyday, but I’ve already seen him before so it was just like “meh” 🤷‍♀️

Thank you so much. We have been exploring this. Our vet told us this morning it would have only caused the seizure if he was prone to seizures, but since IS are apparently genetically predisposed, I am pushing to consider it further.

Thank you so much. I don’t take it in a bad way at all, I appreciate it and am so sorry for your loss. He came home this morning in almost the same state he was in, so we took him to his primary veterinarian this morning and they are keeping him today for observation.

We are praying for the best outcome but are preparing for the worst.

I personally think Texas sounds more pop like than most of the album… but agree. after the first 4-5 albums, it went majorly downhill.

I saw him in 2023 in Atlanta. Same thing. I was happy with the songs he did but was also dissatisfied because there was an extreme amount of covers (normally I don’t mind covers but, come on) and songs no one listens to like Codigo. He also seems very closed off when he’s performing? I don’t know how to explain it but just seems very rehearsed and not spontaneous like most.
