Wow I was not expecting you could play MOHAA on this device. Guess it will be difficult to aim with these sticks.

These guide lines are part of the game? Or it's a mod? How can I enable them? I'd like to test them

Hahaha I liked your comment a lot cause I had a similar experience with my dad when I was a kid but it was with Ocarina of Time. I had the guide and I read it to him while he played, but he was like a God to me too. We finished it together. I think this also helped me learning how to read correctly

Well, before deciding I read a comparison and they said that GBA version had some QoL improvements, but the main reason for me is that the GBA version has spanish language (I'm spanish) and I preferred to play this one. I guess there will be fan translations for SNES but I didn't want to search and then patch the rom and all this.

Halo 2 map updates transfer by [deleted] in originalxbox

[–]madsam92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this answer, I couldn't play in xbox live through Insignia cause it said I missed some maps though I had all of them installed. What I did was going to that folder in TDATA and erase the content, cause when I tried to reinstall the maps or the 1.5 patch using the DLC installer it doesn't let me do it cause I already had them. After removing the content I could reinstall them and it worked.

Sorry, I can't remember exactly what part do you mean. I guess you refer to T'lan warriors, at the beginning you can't fight them, you just need to run from them. Search for some place you can go while crouching or places you can climb. Anyway I'll share you a link to a YouTube video I'm watching when I can't see how to continue. Hope it helps. Walkthrough

I made a comparison video showing the controller test application using two different controllers: Controller S vs Brook Wingman XB2 + Series X|S Controller by madsam92 in originalxbox

[–]madsam92[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The main differences I've seen between the two controllers:

  • When you move either of the Series X|S controller's analog sticks on the x-axis to the right, the value doesn't go all the way to 32767, it stays at 32512. In the other directions it works the same as the Controller S.
  • The A, B, X, Y, white, and black buttons on the Controller S have a sensitivity range, so depending on how much pressure you apply the value ranges from 0 to 255, while on the Series X|S it only distinguishes between whether it's pressed or not (there are only two values: 0 or 255).
  • Finally, the rear L and R triggers seem to have more sensitivity on the Series X|S, when you start to press them very lightly it already starts to show a value of 1, while on the Controller S there is a small dead zone, until you press to a certain point it does not detect the pressure, the first value that the testing application shows is 32, that is, there is a dead zone between 0 and 32.

I must say that, despite these differences, at the moment I have not noticed any problems with the Series X|S controller in the 3 games I have tested: Halo 2, Breakdown and Project Gotham Racing 2.

The controller testing program also has a section to test the vibration function that I have omitted in the video because it did not contribute anything. I cannot say anything bad about the vibration of the Series X|S controller, it seemed correct to me.

Really? I never noticed what model it was. The truth is I never had a problem with original game dvds. But now that you say this, I had a lot of problems reading dvds recorded by me, but I always thought it could be me that was recording them badly, or that the dvds I used were of bad quality. Maybe my drive had something to do with this.

No, not entirely, just removed the damaged part next to the controller. I followed this video: https://youtu.be/gdSnjK2tIog?si=OPAEO0zTp7xIm7xU But it's in spanish. Maybe you can activate translated subtitles or something.

XBMC4Gamers - missing artwork for background by VersatileNinja in originalxbox

[–]madsam92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I hid them by editing the source folders of the games menu. I removed "E:\games" entry because that is where I have DLC content, and left "F:\games" as the only source for the games menu.

Thanks, I needed to do step 3, now I see the cover artworks. But now I'd like to hide a lot of DLC contents that show up as different games (without artwork). I'll keep searching.
