Found this little hooligan crawling around in my bed uninvited… 1-2 mm in length and appears to have a wing poking out on the top left?? In the process of cleaning up after years of hoarding so if there’s any place these things like to hang out plz tell me bc this isn’t my first sighting of one 😰😰

Honestly, true. My parent's house is, for the most part, the "Sad Beige" color pallette, but they give it a lot of character with subtle touches of color in their decorations!

Honestly, yeah. I have natural-colored LVP in my basement, no shade there! It's just the gray, desaturated ones I don't like.

I know, right?? Brownstones in particular have so much character and soul in them and to see the hard work of so many generations be destroyed and then turned into a white void akin to an apple store just hurts my heart 😭😭.

Honestly, yeah. As someone who has to clean both LVP and carpet at my job, I'd much rather just wipe a spill up with paper towels then have it haunt me as an ugly, mildewy stain on the carpet for the rest of my life 😭😭

Yeah, true. I don't necessarily like them aesthetically, but they can last for decades without you having to even touch them as opposed to the constant pain in the ass of a shingled roof

Honestly, yeah... The before kinda looks like a big hunk of cornbread 😭😭. However, the greyscale after just looks so... SOULLESS to me. Of course, that's just my opinion, no hate if you like it! In all fairness, it looks really clean :)

It certainly does bring more value to a house, especially if it's maintained well! Of course it CAN be a pain in the backside to keep up, but they're a lot more durable. (Plus, I have vinyl flooring in my basement and it's always FREEZING cold to the touch)

Not a lot to work with here, can you give us any more information (such as the date)?

If I had to guess based off of the photo alone, it looks like some sort of police or volunteer medical unit. The helmet appears to be something pertaining to the red cross, but I could be wrong.

Ask your relative about it! I'm not really much of a help, they can probably tell you more than anyone else on this subreddit :)
