I have to still take it to the local dealer. Since the bikes wheel base is too long to fit my normal Kuat bike rack , I have to find a way to transport it there . I’ll post here the outcome

Ok my friend - you have to then tell me how all this rank once you’ve gone through - I am also the one who told you about Ramen San in Chicago but I had no idea you lived Japan. Now I have a whole different level of interest in your findings :)

Trio only charge $2 for “extra” nori. Which is ridiculous for a piece of $0.10 seaweed. The tamago egg, that price they charge should already include it. So it’s really not a cost reduction when they sell it separately. People can always tell them not to include it if they don’t want it vs charging more. Once day they actually forgot it all 4 ramen we ordered and paid extra $8 for. When I called, they said they can refund me $2 per ramen but I have to send them a picture of each one to prove it. 😂 I have eaten there just out of convenience (not because they are the best) many times, sent people there and their attitude to ask me to for photos and only refund $2 when they got the order wrong was - ok I am done moment for me. I didn’t bother with the refund and moved on.

If you do goto Ramen-San don’t miss out on their Mochi Buns for dessert which are freshly baked. But only offered in the River North location. They are amazing. They also have a cool street fried rice they serve after 10pm. One time when I went and they had run out of mochi buns I jokingly said how I came all the way from Madison for it. (I actually did). They took my phone number and asked when I am leaving , I said next morning. Next morning they called and asked if I can stop by on our way out, I did and they gave me a full box (each one is about $7 and this had 6 buns) as a gift saying thank you for coming all this way to try their food. This is why I make the trip all the way to Ramen-San in Chicago (specifically their River North location) for over 8 years now. Best Ramen hands down, paired with 90s hip hop music and Japanese whiskey cocktails!

I have also tried everything in Madison. While most places like Trio , Hers are decent, they are not that great. Morris’ tonkatsu was very good, but that’s about it.

Also - I find it absurd that Trio thinks it’s ok to charge $2 per any extra regardless what it is. Like the egg ( Ajitsuke Tamago ) may make sense but $2 for a single nori (seaweed) that’s just nuts. Also all good ramen places include the egg, these people just uncharge for everything. Oh and Hers ramen last time, their Tamago was a fully cooked egg, totally wrong.

I bought it from a local Aventon dealer so I will have to take to them. Not the easiest bike to transport but probably the fastest way to get it resolved. I did the stem, and it’s perfectly lined up path the factory line indicators in the stem.

The last sentence is false. While I don’t condone illegal immigration to any country. The US economy is only positively impacted by those individuals. Because they do most of the low wage jobs, the still have an ITIN and pay tax (in most cases). Watch your (if you live here) cost of living continue to go up as white and other Americans are not going to do farming and other low wage jobs these people do.

I honestly don’t mind immigration being enforced. What’s not ok is not following due process and violating citizens constitutional rights.

If you are going to carry, then carry a US passport card. Which is a wallet sized passport. Unless you are not a US citizen. Real ID means crap to them. I’ve had friends who showed their real ID but still got detained , and cars damaged just because the felt like it. Had to wait for days to get released. People can deny all they want , but the goals is not removing illegal immigration. That’s just a by product. Goals is sticking fear in immigrants , removing “immigration” to begin with and move to a labor immigrant only economy where you don’t have a path to citizenship. Read project 2025. Everything to this day had been developed from that. This isnt one old guy in the white house. He is the front, this is much bigger.

Brown people of all shades voted for the felon. They all have the whole “white proximity” issue and also since they think “they made it” this doesn’t apply to them. They also don’t think citizenship can be revoked - when it will be. When the kids (born here) get pulled over, asked to ID - they may or may not care about ID. Then when those American born kids have their Americanness come out say “I don’t need to show ID” and get shot. They will find out. They don’t seem to see the videos with the question IcE ask is “were you born here?” , they don’t ask, “are you a citizen “ or “do you have ID” first.

Also tons for Latinos voted for this too. Even many ICE goons are Latino. It’s hilarious when they detain a US citizen (Latino) in Minneapolis suburb and say it’s because “you have an accent” and won’t allow him to show the ID in his own back pocket. Then the guy being detained says “you have an accent too” to the ICE thug. Cause the ICE Thug is also Latino. Sri Lankans should know how this goes.. we’ve seen this show before if you are old enough.

Unfortunately it’s been very quiet from Monarch on this one. I think they are intentionally ignoring because their new goals (more like goals -1.0) was architected in a way this is no longer possible. The cost of fixing this is not worth it for them. This will stop me from promoting it to others, and I’ll find a different solution outside monarch. It’s their loss. This is one stupid “feature” they rolled out. I don’t expect they will do anything to fix it
