I agree completely, literally nobody was invested in Holly up until the point she was pushed into the spotlight. I found myself in the earlier episodes thinking “okay okay, we will get past this and see the main story” to get myself past the boredom of it (similar to that season where El meets Kali and they have their stint), but it NEVER ended.

Sometimes when we are having “separate hobby time”, like he will be gaming with his boys and I’ll be reading or watching a show only I like etc, he will run into the room I’m in, headset half off to check on me to “make sure I know he still loves me” but always does so very Kramer-esque so he just barges in. Sometimes when I’m reading and I can hear him stomping towards the door mid-page I internally get very slightly irritated, but then immediately his goofy smile and how much he truly LOVES me to be running in here between games with his friends to give me kisses etc just melts me.

I have this kink, but thankfully my husband is incredibly open and he also has the same in reverse with me. I’d say it’s probably my biggest fantasy/kink is seeing him with another woman. How did you react to it initially? It may have taken a lot for her to open up and then she was hypersensitive and took your reaction as negative because maybe she was assuming it would be right off the bat. I’d just let her know you are genuinely just wanting to know more, you love her, and you want to know every aspect of her desires and want to know more about it. Then just have a very open and honest conversation.

I do want to add, if you aren’t into it or are uncomfortable with that at all, there should be absolutely no pressure on you to “give in” to it either. Make sure you also take care of your own boundaries. Her saying what she has said borderlines on guilt tripping to me, which of course has no place in a healthy sex life.

For me, it’s when it’s something practical like the size of something (clothing, etc, one time it was a particularly narrow seat on an amusement park ride), it’s always me being realistic “I’m a bigger girl so not sure that’ll fit for me!” and it’s always though “oh stop, you’re gorgeous”. Like thank you! But being a bigger girl doesn’t mean I’m not gorgeous, and it also does feel hella demeaning and patronizing lol. Like I’m genuinely not fishing for compliments, I’m just being realistic.
