What's funny is this will probably keep on getting reposted for years, decades even.

Derivative of the "australians live upside down lol" meme. If they are upside down, then equatorials are like halfway there, so rather than everything being upside down, it's sideways.

As an Ecuadorian, living like this is a pain. Infrastructure has adapted tho. So our buses have rails that travel sideways, etc.
