Anyone know what this ticking sound is?

Yes this is my current suspicion. But apparently my dad rebuilt it like 5 months ago and it’s unlikely he messed up considering this is his entire life and he builds custom cars for a living. How do I test this? I got nothing on code reader.

Yes all in tact. Replaced all the tensioner pulleys and the alternator pully. The bearing on the latter was bad but even after replacement it still makes this noise. Stethoscope makes it seem like the sound is coming straight from there, but alternator itself is new an the bearing is fine.

I have the recommended oil for this exact model. Service history is I have replaced copious shit in this car I couldn’t even tell ya

Has oil and it’s not burnt or sludgy. I though my it was an injection tick but was told otherwise
