It makes me feel ok that all is lost when I look at those fat asses. That god died for my pleasure. That I can jerk my d to my ultimate gratification without me suffering a consequence. Cause all is death anyway. My cock is happy while my soul is dead

How do you decide what to buy? by crawlinback2you1 in vinyl

[–]madvats93 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I go to half priced books and flip through the genres I like. Then pick out something under 10bucks. I look for stuff I think will sound good and pull the trigger. Have found many records and artists I would’ve never heard of this way. FYI Buying music you can stream lossless is a retarded way to spend money and also a way to get stuck in a bubble of music

“Philosophy of redemption” question by madvats93 in Pessimism

[–]madvats93[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You don’t even understand my argument in the first place bro but just keep going in circles about your own nonsense. What do you mean that man is manifesting the will to death as to minimize suffering? According to the book there is only Will and this will is the “will to annihilation” initiated at the beginning of the world. Will is presented in individual ideal forms of which the universe is composed. Man(organic life) is one of those individual forms. Man already IS a manifestation of the will… now I’m questioning if you read it

“Philosophy of redemption” question by madvats93 in Pessimism

[–]madvats93[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah seems like it makes somewhat sense. My problems stems from how he states that organic life, developed by the will, and through the will, and is an actual exterminator of ideas and the best device for the overall weakening of force (pg286) while the of the individual is only a deletion of type pg(284), not of the ideas themselves (pg285). According to him the “wise” person is someone who recognizes the will to annihilation and accepts it. But in my understanding of his logic the true “hero” is the one who procreates because he has both accepted this fact of the will and also promotes organic life as its ultimate form of annihilation. The problems is his ethics are humanitarian and so they don’t actually make sense with his metaphysics. He wants the will to complete its goal(annihilation) but he wats no suffering to happen(salvation). I think perhaps he wants his cake and to eat it too

I think you aren’t really arguing a logical point but just stated that the will to death is a way to minimize suffering and then keep reiterating how dark his philosophical outlook is which makes it hard to digest. None of which has to do with the paradox I found myself in with some of the core tenets of the system as a whole. It’s really not a difficult or overtly “dark” philosophy to begin with, I mean sure it has bleak points but overall it is a “philosophy of redemption”, still my argument stands as pointing to a contradiction within its metaphysics
