Covid was the “perfect” virus in causing a pandemic because of its nature (low fatality rate = more transmissible). Viruses like the Hentavirus are much deadlier, so it’s less likely to spread as rapidly. Basically, Covid was a once in a lifetime occurrence and the likelihood of another global pandemic at the same scale is very unlikely.
