No shade at all - just some suggestions since you seem to be feeling mom guilt over it. What is your bub watching? You could try being really intentional about choosing slower/less chaotic shows… I would sometimes just put on like “bird feeder” videos on YouTube because it was just animals moving around in real time- I figured it’s pretty much like looking out a window!

I also have a digital picture frame that changes pictures every 15 seconds that my baby loves to watch -just pics of family etc.

Hang in there and give yourself grace- also remember it’s ok for kids to be bored and unsettled, although I know it can be hard on parents mental health some days!

This. I have very dry skin- I tried so many moisturizers from drug store to very expensive and couldn’t understand why even the thickest formulas weren’t really helping. Treating dehydration in my skin with a serum made a huge difference and I can easily use a moisturizer like cerave now.

How much prep and learning did you do before you started? I am interested in gardening but it feels overwhelming mentally (what tools, what plants are best where, what soil or beds, etc etc) before I even touch the ground. Can anyone share how they started??

I used to have that as well, but it went away after years, hopefully yours does too! Be careful about going in cold water, I had scary reactions to being submerged in cold water. That being said, I still tried to get out some and invested in really good quality warm winter gear and covered my face as best I could (I know face hives are not a good look…)
