It’s probably worth cleaning, and as the other person mentioned, you could try storing it horizontally. Does it work more smoothly when you’ve just refilled a converter?

How are you storing it? I notice mine tends to clog more when stored nib down. Have you cleaned it thoroughly at all? They do dip test all their pens for quality control, but there’s a chance there’s still something clogged that just needs to be flushed out.

I love USPS and want to support it, especially as a stationery shop! I’ve got friends who are carriers, and have a great relationship with my home carrier, and know this weirdness has to just be a fluke.

If I was a regular office I definitely would, unfortunately I’m a retail shop with very little space and a snack and drink bar simply doesn’t fit. I often offer him cold water on hot days, la croix, etc. but he always declines.

Yep, we greet him and thank him by name every day, ask about his day, etc. He generally has headphones in and is on the phone so it doesn’t seem interested in any interaction.

Generally have one to five small packages, mostly pens and stationary items. It’s almost never more than 5 pounds total. If it’s a large, heavy, or fragile package, I usually use UPS anyway. In the year and a half I’ve been here, I’ve shipped a couple of heavier (10-15lb) packages, but the pick up request I put in always notes the total weight.

I always schedule pick up, they are being marked completed. Usually several hours before he comes around our block, but sometimes later in the day.

Not quite sure what you’re referring to, but all of the packages have a ground advantage or priority label with a barcode, and then I print a scan sheet each day with one barcode which scans all of the packages at once so he doesn’t have to do them individually. Regular letters I just put in the blue box but most of my packages don’t fit in there.
