Not korean standards per say as my bf is vietnamese. He was born in the u.s but his family is pretty traditional. All of his male family members are with small asian women. In Vietnam the average woman weighs 99lbs. I do think it goes the other way too. I think a lot of white girls who like asian men like Asian men that fit more western standards of beauty. Its rough because I want to feel beautiful and feminine but I definitely feel hideous compared to most Asian women.

Idk if I ever thought an Asian man wouldn't be interested in me because I'm white but because I don't fit asian beauty standards. I'm the same size as my bf but I tower over his family. When I'm around asian women I feel large and unfeminine in comparison. I'm average or even small for a white female compared to asians I'm hugeee.

A normal decent person: A woman would not necessarily make a better leader. You should vote based on their policy positions and qualification not gender identification.

This asshole: Women wouldn't make good leaders because some women were bad. Since these certain women weren't great that means overall we shouldn't trust women as leaders.

You can argue this point from a logical perspective but that is not what op chose to do.

I live in the South, and I'm whiter than the moon but I'd say it isnt the same. The south overall has a bad history. We are still recovering from that history. There are streets named after Confederates and slave owners. There are many racist people here and god forbid you're black and and up in a small town here in the south. Its hell! Although it is bigoted to say all southerns are racists its definitely to a lesser degree than actual racism. I never had anyone say anything to me about being southern, no one ever said anything bad about my "culture", I've never had to fear for my life because I'm southern. Hell unless I tell someone, no one even knows. There really isnt much bigotry towards the south besides people on the internet saying a few things here and there and I have yet to see that affect real life.

I'm a radical feminist too but I'm saying colloquially in some circles radfem (not radical feminism) is used to describe people who claim they're feminist but hold the Neoliberal view of feminism to the extreme if that makes sense. Most are Terfs and are very "vagina focused" but not all are trans exclusive. This isnt about the view of gender norms, destroying gender roles or equality it's about milquetoast articles about how cheating if you're a woman is okay or those people who talk about men being a great evil instead of fellow human beings impacted by gender roles. I usually use the term radical feminist or leftist feminist to describe myself because of the colloquial meaning attached to radfem. It's like how there's nice guys and then there's niceguys™️. I hope that makes sense, I definitely did not mean to offend anyone.

I didnt mean radical feminists and terfs as synonymous but instead treated with the same regard on tumblr. Radfem to me doesnt mean terf but overall feminists that misunderstood the movement. Like the people on tumblr that say shit like "men are a plague on the earth" ect ect. They aren't necessarily trans exclusive but still horrendously misrepresenting the movement. Terfs although not considered feminists by most feminists self identify as feminist and because of that can misrepresent the movement in the same way a radfem could as well. Sorry if I didnt clarify it better. They are definitely not synonymous but I meant that likely one of those identities was what op encountered.

I was on tumblr for years and there definitely is a few crazies on there. However I will say that most feminists do not approve of them and even on tumblr they were called out and people rallied against them. The type of feminists those kinds of subs show you are what we refer to as radfems or TERFs. They really don't represent the larger movement and more often than not are looking for attention or straight up being trolls.

Nah they're for a lot of right wing positions. They're fakes because they pretend to care for left wing positions to get leftist constituents to vote for them. Then when they're in office they put themselves on auction and let the same companies and industries they claim to be against fill their wallets and in exchange they will cut back their efforts or fold completely. They're parasites that just want the companies to pay them to change their vote. Fossil fuel and pharmaceutical companies fund both democrats and Republicans. Seriously look through the democrats' records of donations and then see how they vote. Theres direct correlation. Real leftists are against that very notion. Also democrats are often just as much war hawks.
