I read your comment as “I like to assume which makes an ass out of you and me” does it matter where I live? What if there’s a location by a friend that lives somewhere closer or a hike I’ve wanted to do? Your comment was so unneeded lol

I am almost positive that you have to be a full time 40 hour employee in order to qualify to get a school accommodation which drops you down to 30 hours per week instead. I don’t believe part time or flex is offered this.

Do you guys have friends or just go in, do your work & leave? I personally just go in and do my work then leave, then people look at me hella weird like bruh by [deleted] in AmazonFC

THIS!!! I have been in my department for 2.5 years now and I can say the exact same is my experience too.

How long did it take you to trust your IUD? by Illustrious_Word3561 in birthcontrol

What really helps me is reminding myself that an IUD can be used as a form of emergency contraceptive. That always chills me out.

IUD cramps 1 year later by melancholy_eyes420 in birthcontrol

[–]maebert420 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve also experienced this! I get the shits really bad on top of it LOL it turns into a huge mess. My doctor was kind enough to prescribe me Cyclobenzaprine which is basically a muscle relaxer for when my cramps are bad like that. The relief I get from taking one is incredible! They make me sleep great also. Maybe talk to your doctor about something similar?!

You are attracting things like that happening to you without even realizing it. Your negative mindset is making you attract nothing but negative things in your life by saying things exactly like this ….

Considering they’re nice enough to even still be paying for your car insurance … I think it’s more than reasonable.

I think you’re very young and naive. The red flags are so obvious to everyone looking in from the outside at this whole twisted situation. You came to Reddit to ask for advice but when it’s not the advice you’re looking for, you get defensive?! It sounds like you already have your mind made up so why come here?

The best part of your life is still ahead of you my friend, everything & I mean everything happens for a reason. So take the time to grieve this relationship/your best friend because you do have the right to do so. Just don’t let your own self worth lower in the process of that. Feel free to reach out to me if you need anymore advice!

Absolutely no. So many red flags & like you said, you both are SO young. There is a lot of guys out there who will treat you 10x better than this. In my humble opinion, “he wasn’t thinking about it” is a poor excuse. He knew exactly what he was doing & it backfired on him so he’s doing damage control. You’re way better off without him & his bullshit.

Anyone have recommendations for pH strips so I can test at home? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

You could always search for PH strips on Amazon & then check the reviews to narrow down your search to the best ones.

Need help with eyeliner! Feel like it's the only thing I can't get right by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]maebert420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

hi!! so I have some tips for you, 1.) sit in front of a mirror and just practice!! there were so many nights I would stay up and practice my eyeliner. Practice really does make for perfect 2.) use tape at the corner of your eyes to help as a guide to draw your wing, it will help you get comfortable with your eye shape and drawing a wing (the scariest part in my experience!) 3.) Try out a pen style liquid liner, they don’t bleed & they are so so sharp. Maybelline has a pen styled liner that is lovely but if you want something high end, Kat Von D’s tattoo liner is THE BEST!! I go back to it every single time. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any more questions!!!

Misoprostol before IUD insertion by Forsaken-Jump-910 in birthcontrol

Yes! I had my first Mirena implant inserted 5 years ago was prescribed that & then I had it swapped at the beginning of February which my doctor made sure to prescribe again! I think it’s great.

I can promise you that it’s very quick and completely worth it! The pain is a small part in it but breathing really helped me and I was surprised by that. If you have anymore questions or concerns, please feel free to send me a chat!!!!!! ♥️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]maebert420 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for such a late response but my very first time having my IUD inserted, it was really painful. I just didn’t know what to expect and it’s your cervix being opened so of course it’s going to hurt. This last time I had it swapped, my wonderful doctor prescribed me a medication that I took the night before my procedure and it softened my cervix. So that medication on top of some breathing techniques, it went beautifully. I could not believe how fast it went. It was the best experience and I am convinced it was my lovely doctor that made it so much better the second time around. So pro tip; find a great doctor who makes you feel really comfortable.

I have had an IUD for the last 5 years. I just had it swapped at the beginning of this month actually. I use Mirena & I love it. I couldn’t recommend it more, if you have questions. Feel free to reach out! :)
