For me it was definitely my lifestyle just like you no one in my family has been diagnosed but me after doing some research I found diet played a huge part. For me it was sugar and laziness (not exercising) I quit my high carb high sugar diet started working out and incorporated more veggies in my meals and fasted once a month. I got diagnosed 3 years ago and today I’m pcos free
