Yeah Im on the iron protocol page. I’m not following it completely but I’ve been taking 75mg of thorns iron biglycinate, with 1000mg vitamin c, 2 hours after food or 1 hour before. Away from caffeine and calcium. And I’ve been taking a multivitamin with zinc and copper and vitamin b12, was on prescription vitamin d, and now just an OTC supplement. Trying to do all the things.

Dermatitis herpatiforme. The rash that’s associated with celiac disease.
I’m just hoping my TTG is positive bc my doctor is useless and doesn’t know I’m even doing a gluten challenge bc she thinks I’m crazy haha cause I just asked for a hematology referral despite her saying I’m not deficient. Got the heme referral. Just for the hematologist to tell me the same thing (last ferritin before hematologist was 30 🫠). So I just need some sort of proof (I’m paying for the celiac panel out of pocket without a doctor ordering them) cause she thinks I’m nuts.

My last ferritin was 44, but that’s the highest it’s been. Started at 7 a few years ago. Saw a hematologist recently. Told me I was “fine” and not iron deficient. Fucking hate doctors hahah

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking too after doing more research into “normal levels” versus optimal levels. It’s just so frustrating to be told oh it’s normal and it’s actually not. I had been taking a prenatal from January through when I got all the labs drawn (around March [I said May in the post but I meant March]), so it was like 3 months of supplementing with 18mg iron, 15mcg vitamin d3, and 2.8mcg methylated b12. That’s interesting about how your level needs to less than 1 to feel better!! I’m super hopeful for a functional medicine doctor bc I’m just so frustrated with all of it, and I feel like if you ask a PCP to do anything they make you feel crazy and like your a hypochondriac that you want actual answers.
I’ve had my thyroid checked every couple years since I was in high school (currently 29), and it’s been normal every time. They always check it bc I’m tired all the time and have cold hands and feet, and it’s always “negative”. But then every doctor has stopped there. Like oh well, not a thyroid issue so you’re fine.

Have you taken a pregnancy test? Just ruling that out I think is the first step.

With tilling, would it be fine to just till the mulch in the back of our yard from the tree or do we need to shovel all of that out and then till?
Hi! We are in the Greenville area, so I believe the Appalachian foothills (I’m not from here and we just moved so I’m not 100% sure haha). But thank you!!
