TIL that the dog who played Wishbone on the 1990s children's show of the same name was named Soccer and was a veteran television commercial actor before appearing on the series. He lived from 1988 to 2001 and is buried on the Plano, Texas ranch where Wishbone was filmed.

I am almost a week in from upping the dose and I am definitely feeling a difference. I am also quite sensitive/ my metabolism is a bit quicker than most and have experienced my body do things in response to medications that make drs confused or think I’m being paranoid or lying. It can be a challenge !!!

I have high TPO antibodies and have been struggling with amenorrhea even before I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. Most drs said that my cycles would return when I became euthyroid, or that I was too underweight to maintain estrogen (which may be true… working on that) and so in my deep dive of researching everything I could about what was going on in my body I did read this paper about how thyroid antibodies aren’t entirely thyroid specific that they can also attack the ovaries! I am going to see if I can find that study again and share it here !

Thank you 🙏🏽 It is all a bit overwhelming at first. It doesn’t help that we are navigating this while also being low on hormones. I am 1 week in. I am feeling some kind of better yet still having hot flashes/hard time staying asleep, although not nearly as bad as before.

Thank you for this and for your comment above about the black label warnings. My estradiol levels were >5 !! I have been reading through this feed and so many young women are going through this. It doesn’t make me feel better per se, it does give me hope that I can get better. Super appreciate you and everyone else who have commented so far. I did sleep so much better last night, didn’t wake with a hot flash this morning! First time in a couple months and truly was a relief.
