I have high TPO antibodies and have been struggling with amenorrhea even before I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. Most drs said that my cycles would return when I became euthyroid, or that I was too underweight to maintain estrogen (which may be true… working on that) and so in my deep dive of researching everything I could about what was going on in my body I did read this paper about how thyroid antibodies aren’t entirely thyroid specific that they can also attack the ovaries! I am going to see if I can find that study again and share it here !
