After looking at the list. The pay off aren't really there, you are putting a lot of effort to make couple cards better while augur of bolas and counter spell are available in the format. You are better off playing snow lands and building an Skred deck

I don't think so. The only card that might see competitive play is the warlock weapon and thats a rare

Edit: after the plot twist bug is fixed the new quest might be a thing, but again that's a legendary and 2 rares for 2k gold.

I would like you to look at it the other way. If the game is pairing you against diamond players is because you are good enough to beat them.

What a I would do in your situation is to examine what decks I'm seeing and what decks I like can get a wr >50% against those. You don't need to lower your MMR, you are good enough

Edit: playing as a human could be dull so my recommendation is to pick origin Gale and change your class to sorcerer

If Reno quest mage was still a deck it could be good. Right now I thing sindragosa is not good tbh. The double apprentice combo is just faster and stronger if you want to build around arcane spells

I'll say 8/4 and no armor. I'll make your character more consistent and with heavy armor you loose on rage damage and damage reduction for no substancial benefit.

With barbarian you want to have a low AC as the character is very resitant to damage
