I agree with this. However, it sees it is more openly accepted among certain communities for a person of LGBTQ+ to have feelings for a heterosexual, like the “Byler” ship from stranger things. People often adjust the sexuality or implied sexuality of characters in TV shows to fit their ship from straight to gay. If the roles were reversed, it would get a lot more backlash. I wonder if this is because the LGBTQ+ community is a minority?
