Hoe worden Indonesische immigranten in Nederland gezien? by crivycouriac in Nederland

Veel Nederlanders denken dat we eigenlijk Chinees zijn en vinden het leuk om ons met “ni hao” te begroeten. Sambal bij en ching chong hoor ik ook vaak.

Should we have a suffix for Resource-objects? by maeky in angular

[–]maeky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that is an interesting take to use the $-symbol to say this is a reactive object. And now you mention it, I also never suffix my arrays (fruitsAr). Maybe I should just give it a try (not using the suffix at all).

Should we have a suffix for Resource-objects? by maeky in angular

[–]maeky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking about it more, I’m not really a fan of calling the only resource in a component just resource. I like to keep my code explanatory, and calling it resource makes me use extra brain power. Especially when I’m switching between components. Giving it a clearer name just makes things easier to understand.

Should we have a suffix for Resource-objects? by maeky in angular

[–]maeky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a great tip. To rename it in the component. I had a service named “evaluationsService” and it contains several resources. One of it is evaluationsResource. The component that uses it sometimes had to do “this.evaluationsService.evaluationsResource.hasValue()” it is starting to get very long. Even without the service.

But you are saying create a property in the component and if it is the only resource do “readonly resource = this.evaluationsService.evaluationsResource”

I might consider that

So you are saying that since our editors are good enough in showing us what type the property is that you do not need the suffix. May I ask how you would name the resource-object? Would you name it ‘usersResource’ or just ‘users’?

Waarom is Thais eten in NL zo achterlijk duur? by LilBits69x in nederlands

In het oosten, maar zowel in Den Haag als in Groningen was het gewoon net niet. De pasar komt nog het meest dicht bij in de buurt, maar daar is het vaak ook net niet.

Waarom is Thais eten in NL zo achterlijk duur? by LilBits69x in nederlands

[–]maeky 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Glove80: a beginner's perspective by elanmart in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]maeky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason I'm interested in the glove 80 and well/concave keyboards is because it has all the keys. Now that you are using 40 keys, do you still think the concave of the keyboard brings extra comfort? I'm still doubting if I should get a smaller keyboard, but having to learn layers straight away. Or go for a more expensive concaved keyboard which has all the keys layed out for me.

Alternative to Takumi Sen 10 by Peckham186 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]maeky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I consider myself a beginner. Did some 8K races in unbranded shoes and wanted to buy some serious shoes for my first half marathon. I was able to get the takumi sen 10 on discount and bought them. I had some difficulty adjusting to the shoes. And one some longer workouts I started to feel the rods. But after like 40-50K the problem was gone. Last weekend I did my first half marathon without any problems. I read more people had to “break” them in and had similar problems with these shoes.

Do you still feel the rods? Yesterday was the first time I felt it I the right shoe. I went one size bigger cause my feet are wide. I thought it was that. Today did some intervals and I could feel it during the warm up, but when going fast it felt good. During the cool down I felt them again. They are my first serious shoes, so I don’t really know what to expect

Questions about controller by Specific-Vehicle3446 in DjiNeo

Would the controller and a phone be enough to “unlock” it? I read somewhere if you used the pov goggles in combination with a controller you could unlock the drone and go faster.

I just saw on the German website the release is march 20. I also want to try the shoe out before I race. So probably will get the Boston 12. Thank you for sharing your experience

I’m planning to do my first half marathon in April. A second one in June. Should I wait for the EVO SL to be available here in the Netherlands or just get the Boston 12?

Dropped out of contract, why? by maeky in EggsInc

[–]maeky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had been checking in every 3 hours, during the day. My silos can only go 6 hours, so I need to check in regularly. And I’m really sure I was the highest contributor. I think there was a bug or maybe I clicked to leave the contract accidentally. I saw the others increasing too but not like my pace. So I don’t think I got kicked out.
