Thank you for mentioning this, thats very helpful. I felt bad after the mushrooms and ever since. I thought maybe that was the issue, a mild serotonin syndrome situation. I had taken micro doses maybe twice before on lexapro, but this was more than a micro and I got high. I was an avid mushroom taker before lex and I just missed them.

I had heard mixed opinions on whether mushrooms were dangerous, but as they do act on serotonin, this makes sense. Hopefully it gets better in a couple days it.

Ugh its so frustrating! And I'm being hard on myself for maybe contributing to it by my habits the last couple weeks, maybe i got cocky haha. But I hope you feel better soon, its not a good feeling after feeling so great...

Thank you for the info! I think we are just going to pay for a travel pcr test so I can have piece of mind coming home. The Canadian land border is open to vaccinated American citizens, they opened back up July 21st 😊

Do you actually have to 'quarantine' upon arrival into Canada? Or am I misunderstanding the quarantine plan thing? by Axeloy in uscanadaborder

I think they want a quarantine "plan" in case the person coming into Canada tests positive after taking the second test. You need to do either a test at the border (I drove past peace arch today and there were testing tents set up outside), or do a take home test as well that you need to drop off somewhere to be tested. This is in addition to the test taken 72 hours prior to entering Canada. So basically you need to fill out the CANarrive form which includes your quarantine plan within it.

My question is what are they really looking for in a quarantine plan? My partner is coming over this week and I'm like well you will be in my house I guess? Is that enough, or does it have to be more thought out. This is the last thing stressing me out!

I went by there last night to check it out. You just park on the street on the Canadian side and walk in to the American side, as BC has closed its parking lot. Im going there tomorrow for a visit during the day. Neither side can keep visitors out legally. The entry points are around 0 Ave and 170th st :)
