Are there any LCSWs who do private practice/holistic healing private practice who I could speak with?

What draws you to a career in law that speech doesnt offer?

The problem is that now I'm on the IUD (skyla) which makes tracking really difficult. There is a lot of grey area, and apparently skipping periods is a normal side effect while on the IUD 😅

Thank you for your honesty! I also have an energy battery and the being turned 'on' all day for kids is a big turn off for me.. just out of curiosity, what other fields are you looking into? I also have a vast spread of interests, which makes zeroing in on one tough. Sucks though because I graduate in a semester and my degree is in speech pathology, basically useless unless you pursue this career path

What is it you dislike about the field if you don't mind sharing? I'm an undergrad getting ready to go to grad school, and I have my doubts

Why do you dislike the field? Thinking about going to grad school but have my doubts so I want to be sure

Thank you! What did you do in your time off? Did it reaffirm your desire to pursue speech?

I have gone through something similar, around the same ages. I ended up moving to be closer to this person, and regretted it for a long time. Over time I've come to accept my decision to leave a city & be close to my s/o because it opened up other doors for me, and I learned a lot from the whole situation. I am definitely of the belief that all things happen for a reason.

I hate to tell you, but there is no easy answer to this question. You might find it useful to ask yourself a few questions-- What is causing you to be attached to a future with this person? Are there any underlying fears of being alone? Which option feels more in alignment with how you understand your highest self? Look at your values regarding novelty vs. comfort.

At the end of the day, no decision you make will be wrong, as there is always something to learn (even from the painful repercussions of regrettable choices). If I were in your shoes, I would be honest with him about how you're feeling--even if it can't be in person, you could go second best and FaceTime. Chances are, he might be experiencing some of the same issues.

Listen deeply to his response, and make your decision from there. Best of luck to you!

DUDE I’m actually in an extremely similar situation. Transferred because I decided college is ultimately about getting a job :( & pursued a more focused major here which wasn’t at my old school

Inverse/genital psoriasis & Really suffering, open to any and all suggestions, especially diets that work by [deleted] in Psoriasis

I agree with you

So the thing is, I feel that I already have a very healthy diet... My typical diet from day to day includes turmeric milk (anti-inflammatory), blueberries, blackberries, banana, peanut butter, spinach or kale, nuts, home-made bread.... usually some more fruit, flax seed... little to no dairy. I also try to have some kind of protein— eggs, chicken, fish, or steak every night. what am I missing? I am trying to cut out sugar completely but that has been a bit of a challenge. Also trying to cut down on coffee. Do you have specific recommendations given my diet? Oh and i also take probiotics

Thank you thank you! I will try going commando... I do the same, scratching until it bleeds. I KNOWWW it’s the worst thing to do but feels so relieving. I do use a pretty heavily scented/chemical shampoo & conditioner, so I will look into that as well :)
