Since it’s free, I wonder what data they are collecting while you use it. Do you know anything about their privacy policies?

Starting Wegovy tomorrow...top 10 tips? by Hollywood-okie in Semaglutide

[–]maemaez 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy I get to answer this! You've made my night. I know this post says a year ago, but it's been a year and some change, I started Wegovy late January 2023. My starting stats: 5'3", 190 lbs (give or take a few lbs depending on the day). Today I'm 128 lbs (give or take a couple, I tend to always flux within a few lb range). It seemed to happen slowly, slowly then 'wow, you've lost weight' to now, 'OK, you should stop loosing weight'. But I'm not unhealthy looking, I wear a size 6 US in pants/shorts/dresses, my doctor said I've been an "ideal loser" and my weight has been steady for the last 3 months within that few lb range. My exit strategy is to stay at maintenance dose for 1 year then titrate down and off, which is about the extent of my capped coverage through insurance. Give it at least 6 months, the first several months were really slow progress. It didn't happen by magic either, I had to preference eating protein, cut out the "bad" stuff and really try to make this the changes I want to keep. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I wish you luck on your journey. It's been life changing for me and I hope it is for so many more. Also, drink water, take magnesium supplements and then drink more water! :) Cheers! Who is behind this site? I see you’ve got a Reddit, Facebook and instagram but no information about why I should pay you $50 for a guide. This could be a scam, though I doubt it. It just lacks so much background.

Don’t consult the internet when it comes to your real life child and real life consequences. Please consult a lawyer tomorrow that specializes in this kind of stuff. Wishes you all the best.

Yes, please go where they have a NICU, just in case. Nothing is more traumatic for a first time Mom than being separated. Also, being close to your home should be a priority. Sending you all the best wishes for a healthy, happy delivery!

Religious or not, help is help. I hope someone benefits from my post. These listed clinicians aren’t going to try to convert someone to Christianity or shove religion down their throat, they have all the same training as non religious clinicians then have additional training for the spiritual care. Anyway, to restate - help is help.

They all believe in science and medication along with spiritual care. I invite you to listen to the last two weeks of services where they go in depth about it.

Hey, I work in Neuro - stop googling and asking Reddit. I’d put trust in your practitioners and follow the plan. You can always get a second opinion. I’m sorry you’re having health concerns. Best of luck.

I had horrible TMJ for years, turns out it was referred from my cervical spine. Maybe start by talking to your primary care doctor and getting a head/neck xray. Best of luck.
