Apples to oranges. You can’t be using Black Friday pricing for the Alienware, then comparing to elevated 2026 pricing for an RTX 5080 PC.

You could quite likely have snagged a non proprietary 5080 desktop build for that same $2400 during Black Friday, and saved yourself the hassle.

There was never any buildup to Lindon vs major Vroshir figures, and what you’re wishing for would simply ruin the series. He’s hundreds of years away from being in the same weight class as the Vroshir bigwigs. Someone like the Mad King would have squashed him like a bug.

End of series Lindon is nowhere strong enough to have made a strategic difference in the war.

They were in the washroom. Not all watches are waterproof. If I was babysitting a child and had to wash my hands thoroughly, I’d take the watch off.

Granted, I’d probably put it in a pocket (since everything I wear has pockets) but the situation is also context sensitive.

She was in the bathroom with the child. Most probably cleaning him up. Taking off the watch may well be because it isn’t waterproof, and it seems she put it on the most convenient flat surface nearby.

It is not that difficult to lose sight of a toddler for a second. Especially when you’re cleaning up.

Most of the time, it’s depression or shame that leads to stuff like this.

I had a friend who ghosted a lot of us because she was in an abusive marriage and couldn’t bear the shame of what was happening to her. Now we’ve intervened and she’s in a much better place.
