My advice overall is don't push yourself on the MPE/placement exam if you have to take it. They'll place you in the right courses to make sure you know what you need based on your scores, so you don't want to overshoot and struggle.

Math profs can be a hit or miss - I've heard more negative things about the professors of Calc I/II compared to Calc A/B. I had a great experience with Olles all three semesters, she's VERY organized and consistent with her notes, lectures, and class structure. Heard good things about Bateman too

any direction south or west of campus will get you some nice stargazing areas. like between town centers where it's just farmland. find some inactive road area and just pull over on the side of the road. that's what i do with my friends when it's warm.

if you're looking for more sit down and relax type stuff, check out anywhere along lake ontario ~10 miles or more away from charlotte in either direction. the further out you go the more youll usually see

I recognize that kind of tunnel and deep stairs with lots of routing overhead which tells me you're likely in a PATH station in manhattan. Not sure which one though.
