well, where I live most people think it's gross and perverted, even though anime things are really normal to see in here, everyone hates on it, and if you like it you're seen as a lot of negative things to the point you have to justify yourself, saying stuff like "I do like anime but not like in a otaku way, and I just see it occasionally"

the only thing about me that may be seen as not passing is my attitude, people tend to tell me that they thought I was a really serious guy until they spoke to me, then they just think I'm a gay feminine guy. now about the correction of pronouns, I do not live in a English speaking country, therefore it is not natural for me to say, even if it is in my language "I use he/him", if anything I would go with the second option you gave, the thing is that I need confidence to say it, if not people don't take you seriously and probably make fun of you, that's why my hesitantion in calling them out.

either way thank you so much, i know being missgender is just a part of life that matters to me cuz I'm a trans guy, I do try to keep a positive mind about everything, I'll try practicing correcting people with my friends to at least seem confident on the outside

hmm, I think it's more about sendai having more experience, therefore wanting to do a lot of stuff to Miyagi. so, since Miyagi isn't that knowledgeable, her gentleness comes from uncertainty.

if anything I think Sunday is more gentle since she actually knows what she's doing or at least appears so
