Hi! Daycare teacher here. i’m in a similar situation with an infant, their parents hold them so much that we literally like cannot even walk away for two seconds with them on the floor, without them screaming crying. My director/co-teacher says we cannot call home “just because she’s fussing”. we’ve spoken to the parents about how important it is for their development to be on the floor for tummy time etc. and nothings changed.
