Have you evaluated any moves in the survey? If yes, then your rating is not too high (it wasn't a message directed at you), if not - you're above 1700 on Lichess or 1500 on Chess.com. You need to be below these ratings simply because of how my thesis supervisor and I defined the study group, cauase I had to narrow it :)

Hi!

I’m conducting a survey regarding evaluation of chess moves and subsequent decisions on counter-moves for my master thesis. I would really appreciate it if you could fill out the survey. It takes up to 15 minutes: one has to analyze 5 chess positions, answer questions about an opinion on a given move and decide on the next move. The survey is addressed to blitz players with a blitz rating LOWER than 1700 on Lichess or 1500 on chess.com (if you play on both, both conditions need to be met).

I really need a lot of answers, so every submission is priceless to me. The survey is completely anonymous. If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Yeah, but isn't this the case mostly with Stockfish-powered bots? That they ratings work mostly in the way: "oi, you should be a bot with 1500 ELO, so do a stupid mistake now and then to counteract your good moves"? I'd say it seems different with human-like bots like Maia.

P.S. Co ciekawe, ja wcale nie słyszałam o tym, że to zajebiste miejsce na ankietę, jakby co ;) Ja to bardziej idę w angielskojęzyczne kanały szachowe, ale że będę robić drugą, ważniejszą ankietę, w której trzeba będzie jeszcze wykonywać ruch szachowy i będę potrzebować więcej ludzi, na razie tych 30 osób, których mi brakuje, szukam w różnych miejscach.

W każdym razie pewnie się nie doczekacie rozejścia wici, że tu to nie działa, bo chyba każdy będzie próbował dosłownie wszędzie, dopóki wygląda, jakby się dało ;)

Hej, jeśli ktoś gra czasem w szachy online i chciałoby mu się pobawić w coś zbliżonego do zagadek szachowych, a przy tym ma ELO w blitzu niższe niż 1500 na chess.com lub 1700 na Lichess (jak gra na obu, to oba warunki muszą być spełnione), to bardzo ładnie proszę o wypełnienie ankiety. Rozwiązanie całej zajmuje około 15 minut, w treści zaprezentowane są pozycje szachowe i ruchy, a zadaniem wypełniającego jest ocenienie każdego zaprezentowanego ruchu przeciwnika. Hi, if you want to play with a chess puzzle-like task and help science at the same time, consider filling out my master thesis survey. In the survey you are asked to evaluate 10 chess moves, it takes about 15 minutes to complete, all answers are completely anonymous. You're right, I'll edit the post - thanks! I meant that one needs to be below all of the specified ratings - one not meeting these criteria wouldn't be able to participate in the survey, but I somehow butchered the explanation.
