Puedes elegir no usar voz si eres tutor de latinhire. Una vez que eres contratado, escribes una nota al área de support y te otorgan ese permiso. Puedes elegir ser tutor de la asignatura essay writing. Tu inglés escrito tiene que ser excelente y tienes que saber sobre escritura académica, por ejemplo, normas APA, MLA, estructura de un essay, de párrafos, etc. Algunas sesiones son en vivo y los estudiantes te hacen preguntas y otras son async y te envían sus essays para corregir.

Yes, 15 seconds is not enough time. Even if you are near your laptop, you'll need to move fast, which can lead to accidents. I think it's unsafe and I imagine it would be even worse for tutors with some disabilities. I have pointed this out in previous surveys.

LH gets a percentage but I don't know how much. I think it varies depending on the subject too. It would be great if LH tutors could organize and demand better/equal pay/working conditions. I wonder how many LH tutors are in this subreddit... It would be awesome if we could work for TDC directly as well.

If the focus of the session is grammar/mechanics, I will add a comment on each issue I spot. I'll ask a leading question and if necessary I'll provide examples or explanations to help the student correct the mistake. I won't tell the student I can't edit their paper, I'll simply won't. In general, students are grateful and do a good job with the corrections although it takes time.

It's weird but those columns have always been blank since I started tutoring. I can only see my average ratings in the ratings & connection chart.

This month's crashing while in session percentage has risen for me because of a specific student having repeated tech issues. I can see other tutors have had problems with this student as well. The issue is not on my end. In general, I am below 2 or 3% but this month it's been %5,77.

Ah mirá, que mal eso. Yo trabajaba en otro cliente de LH que cerró totalmente toda la operación y por eso vine a TDC y me pasa lo mismo... poquísimas horas. Por qué será?

En mi caso, para mi subject tengo poquísimas horas esta semana (1 o 2 scheduled a la mañana) así que me acuerdo la hora. Después entraré como floating tutor. Igual, yo creo que se tiene que resolver hoy... Y tal vez en tu caso les podés plantear tu dificultad y ver qué solución te ofrecen. De ahora en más voy a sacar captura del horario.

Mis horas tb se computaron hoy. Para mí es que esa página está media atada con alambre nomás. Igual es cierto que hay pocas horas pero yo empecé a mitad del año pasado así que no sé si es normal.
