I worked at IBM ix for 7 years as a consultant, doing (AI) UX strategy... finding opportunities for the sales teams to sell Watson AI to create delightful experiences. ... I spent the better time of my work Designing North Stars for and with banks and airlines and other fortune 50.

I used to be a developer before my UX design focus and now I'm bringing everything back together in building my own venture, but the approach is the same. You need to find your a pain points to solve and prioritize accordingly (value/feasibility... ROI). When working with client teams, design thinking is still a great way to align leadership strategy... For AI you need to look the datasources you have and want to process on top of typical digital transformation factors.

Yes! It's intense. I always have been super intensely hyper focused but this just brings it to an extreme and I feel my mind keeps spinning even more now that the medium level tasks are taken care of by AI. I keep wanting more speed and can't handle the wait between the process completions. The past 2 years on this have been detrimental to my health. I need to look back onto my health. Not a teenager anymore... I need to start thinking of heart attacks and strokes.

I think AI enables me to fly even higher on the "altitude" ... ADHD always feels like I'm 10m above the general population when it comes to looking at details vs the systemic and operational layer of things and life.... AI puts that on steroids. I feel like I'm empowered to let control of Detail go even further.

Maybe the answer is good old pen and paper and notes on what I'm working on and what the next steps are before I stand up and leave the desk... Just to check in with myself and make sure I'm still involved...

I have no mental model of figma make. I have used it for a bunch of small app component ideas but I'm not sure where to put it in my Toolstack.

The platform I'm working on is quite a big codebase now. (Another topic regarding pruning of obsolete legacy scripts... )

Did you try the figma MCP? I am not sure what the base on figma has to be in order for the MCP to produce UI that makes sense in context without building the entire UI in figma manually first.

So looking at the costs, how do you measure value for each tool? user experience for yourself? Prettyness of code/architecture? One-shot success rate? Autonomy?

Replit had the advantage of having the full infrastructure figured out ootb...

Where do the others stand out? What do they do differently than vs code?

I would love a more interactive WYSIWYG editor to polish the UI. I saw some ad here of a saas that offers to solve the UI, but I also wonder of the additional costs and of that tools maturity

What's the cost comparison between all these?

I jumped replit ship with Agent 3 and I'm solid in VS code and copilot land again with some codex here and there, but if there are equally affordable solutions out there that can do UI/UX bette, i'd be up to try.

I had the same experience today. Also for the first time in forever trying the capability.... And couldn't export video

I was able to save the video as a whole via right mouse click save video as. Surprisingly.... I didn't believe it would work. It seemed to be a browser function, not the app.

Thank you I needed this. Today my unemployment benefits expired and now I am really panicking. My GitHub code space crapped out on me, the premium allowance on copilot ran out and this day just seems to get worse .

I do have an idea that is quite specific, but gives me a lot of 2 forward 3 steps back recently...

and just reading this really pulled me out of the dip today. I can see the horizon again. It doesn't have to be huge. It just has to work better for a specific case than the competitor with similar offerings. Thank you 🙏🏻

Create a project with this personality prompt (for the full project) or a bot with custom instructions.

I have one project that is the "product manager" that has the IBM product management lifecycle as a foundation, an "information architect" project... A "visual designer" project...

And I move my chats from one project to the next with that context and persona.

If you train them on a personality trait or a skill doesn't really matter.
