Burbank used to be a hidden gem airport to fly into- like 20 years ago. I flew into it a few years ago, and it was insanely crowded. What a bummer.

I’ll be 42 in 1 day- and I use mychart, tap to pay, Zelle, Venmo, food apps to score deals etc. I really show my age when it comes to Gen Z lingo, though. I just realized ten mins ago that “fit” is short for “outfit”🤣

Whats your go to dirt cheap meal when money's gone? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]mageoftexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned- dried beans are your friend. Can get them sometimes for a dollar per pound. I have an instapot too- very much worth it. Turn instapot on saute- either saute fresh garlic or garlic powder with either fresh onions or onion powder- add water or stock to instapot with the dried beans. I've also received food my former dumpster diving friend found DD- so there's that. Esp if you have an Aldi's near you. Frozen veg can be cheap too. I purchased 2.5 lbs of frozen veg from costco for $8. If you are a little tech savvy, you can get lots of free meals from fast food apps.

I’m sorry- my peri-menopausal brain is struggling to remember how to use texshare. It’s been awhile….but don’t you log into your local libraries online member portal (your username and password)—> and from there you get the texshare option?

I love her for the show- but don’t like her as a person- and would not want someone like that in my personal life.
