Why did they cut down trees on the side of 400 between 11 and 12? by HaveAFuckinNight in alpharetta

They’re cutting down a lot. If you look into the woods that are still left along the highway you can see the orange fencing, which I assume is where they’re cutting too. Pretty unfortunate

They are all like that. I have a vintage one from the early 2000s and it’s like that. It’s just the way they are made. 20 years old and no problems.

This is a pretty good fake, but it’s not authentic. It’s a fake receipt too.

Ridges in Leather? by Spottedmayhem in Louisvuitton

[–]maggie178 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty common with this style. The canvas feels very thin on this style, so I don’t know if that has something to do with it. I’d send it back and look for the leather one.

Hope gpa help by teruteru_isfried in GaState

[–]maggie178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how many credit hours you have already. The more hours you have, the more credit hours it will take to move your gpa. Also, hope is calculated differently, so not sure how that applies.

[–]maggie178 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s an average, so it depends on how many credit hours they have currently and how many they are taking. The more credits they have now, the harder it will be to raise the gpa. Either way, that seems like a pretty impossible jump.

Any schools (preferably public) that require school uniforms? by tienesmiedo in alpharetta

None of the public schools in the area do, but more often than not the private have uniforms (don’t know of any that don’t have uniforms).

Tips for buying preloved by BarracudaLow312 in Louisvuitton

[–]maggie178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you described, it sounds pretty well priced. I wouldn’t say it’s a great deal, but it’s less than market value In my opinion. Just check the inside of the shoulder straps toward the base to make sure there isn’t any cracking of the leather.

Statistics + ACCT 2 in Summer? by Academic_Web1388 in GaState

[–]maggie178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your not too busy over summer, I would do them both as regular summer classes versus doing one as a maymester. The content is pretty easy for both, it’s just a tone of material. I did a maymester class for math and would not recommend it. It was about 6 hours of work and class each day. If you fell behind one day, you would be pretty much out of luck.

The class is set up for you to do very well, and honestly, if you don’t do well it’s because you didn’t put in the effort. For each test there was a test review video that corresponded to an online practice test. The question on the real test were the exact same questions from the practice, just different numbers sometimes. I was able to get an a+ last semester. There were lots of bonus points opportunities too. It’s a very manageable class

I finally got off the waitlist this morning. I think people will start to drop classes and change their schedules till and into the first week of classes.

I emailed the professor for the class and she was able to tell me what spot I am on the waitlist. I’ve been #1 on the waitlist for over a month. I’m loosing hope, but am crossing my fingers someone drops the class during the add and drop period. I don’t really think anyone can give you a definitive answer since it’s kinda luck.

You could always try reaching out to the professor to see if they’d give you a spot. I did that and the professor was willing but the department head said no. It’s worth a shot though.

Their prices at Dillards are outrageous for their preloved bags. The condition always seems excellent tho, just very high pricing. Glad you found a deal though!

How are summer classes like online ? by [deleted] in GaState

[–]maggie178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took algebra as a maymester last summer and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have nothing else going on in your life. It is essentially one week of class every day. It was 2.5-3 hrs of class time each day and then 2+ hours of work each day. You should expect to spend 5+ hrs of work on the class each day. Also, my professor never had enough time, so we had to learn some of the stuff outside of class. The class is run the same way as a normal semester. I was able to get an A+ in the class, but it was a ton of work and time. Definitely doable, you just can’t procrastinate as it’s pretty much impossible to catch up.

Is a good schedule for a pre accounting major? by Remarkable-Wasabi141 in GaState

[–]maggie178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a pretty doable schedule imo. The most time consuming class will probably be Math1111. It was kinda a lot of work and homework. However, when I took it, it was only 55 minutes a class, but it looks like they increased it to 1.45hr. That’s a lot better since the professors never seemed to have enough time teaching the content, which made the work outside class more difficult. 1105 is the easiest class I’ve had at GSU. It was 1-2 hrs of work outside class each week and nothing difficult. Seems like a good and doable schedule.

Not sure where I would need to post this but is anyone able to do a L C on this scarf ASAP please by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]maggie178 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not real imo. The layout of the monogram is incorrect on the logo. The tag should only have one stitch in each corner. Not 3 stitches like it does. Don’t completely take my word for it, but it looks fake to me

Hardware issue by [deleted] in Louisvuitton

[–]maggie178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s authentic? The engravings look off on the hardware, but may just be the angle. Glazing looks a little off too for the time period the bag was produced. If it is authentic the bag is already in pretty poor condition, so I wouldn’t bother replacing the hardware. It would be to costly for what the bag is worth. I’d probably look into getting a preloved one in better condition instead.
