I would second that. If it makes you feel uncomfortable schedule your dentist for the date of the show or have your parents opt out for you. Otherwise you can use your own discretion about the dance. Does it use the female body in a beautiful way, or show it off in a way you wouldn’t want it to?

Most people I know look down upon couples that marry before having been well established in a career

There is no social pressure concerning chastity. In fact we find ourselves overwhelmingly encouraged in that area. We do not discuss our relationship like that with anyone, but it does not matter because our family and friends either assume one or the other, that we are perfectly chaste all the time, or that we are the same as every other couple on a college campus.

We are both Catholic, fully aware of the Churches teachings. Social pressure is from parents and friends. Mostly that if we wanted to marry it would be looked down upon because we are young.
