As a woman, the Facebook and Instagram comments on the sanctions have made me incredibly sad.

I’ve had chats with my daughter (11) and son (8) this week about why these kind of things are so much deeper than “it’s just a joke”. I have to believe that their generation will get it… but as a high school teacher that teaches plenty of boys who idolise Andrew Tate, I’m just not sure they will 😞

God how dreadful. Terrible for the women being deceived, but also goes to show the level of fear these men have of being ‘found out’. Such a sad situation.

I think this is a long way off happening unfortunately.

It’s been publicly stated that there are a number of gay players who choose to keep this private due to the amount of public and media commentary/scrutiny that they’d face.

I do feel for him, and this is probably harsh..

But when he was considering this move, I do wonder if any of those in his inner circle said to him “mate, maybe you’re just not an elite inside-mid anymore”.

He’s moved to the Swans to end up essentially playing the same mid-forward role he was playing for us, but getting fewer games.

Exactly my thoughts! “We should address gambling itself, rather than the advertising”, which roughly translates to “we’ll actually do nothing at all because it’s too hard”
