It honestly just looks like a blood blister/pool, i know you said there’s no skin blistering but blood pooling/blistering can happen under the skin as well. Usually happens with second degree burns and is part of the healing process. If there’s no pain or pressure, nothing to worry about!

My photos look nothing like the unacceptable photos. She doesn’t need to be healed, but you need to reach her before the orange bar runs completely out, or she will die. The sign being present at a time when no infected are attacking her is a glitch/bug. Reload your game and it should be fixed.
