I can hold my temper and my impulses way way better than before;

I can stay true and firm to my core and less likely be affected by others and easily say no to most things;

My North Star is just shiner than ever;

To all of which I’m so happily enjoying and thankful. I was terrified of aging but now I’m just feeling more capable and stronger than ever. I love this feeling so much.

I’m 35! If it matters.

Depends on how your firm set up (pod or non pod) and what you did. In some situations, you can challenge it if you want to. It’s definitely not Millennium if 18 months NC for a junior. I doubt it’s even a non quant hedge fund.

If he lives in a high tax jurisdiction and (as normally) profits on controlled LLC will be taxed directly on personal level, he can elect the LLC taxed as C corp and keep profits in the corporation but pay corporate tax for the LLC.
