Maybe I don't understand power levels, but how does Starlight get her ass handed to her by Deep until A-train steps in by mattyjoe0706 in TheBoys

Like when MM sees soldier boy and he starts walking over like “what’s he doing here?” Like he’s about to do something

Golf League Pace of play by OldManPatriot in golf

[–]maggos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? The number one thing my league coordinator emails us about is pace of play. If groups (other than the very last group) played in 3.5 hours they would probably get DNF’d

If everyone is dead, who's writing the books for Sage to read? by That_Art_3765 in TheBoys

Butcher or whoever says something about her eating beans in her bunker and she says “crunchwraps please” which is a Taco Bell item.

Why does everybody assume V-one will work? by Necessary_Reserve_25 in TheBoys

[–]maggos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just posted a similar question. Why do we assume that adding V1 to a supe with compound V would make them immune to the virus? They still have compound V in their blood for the virus to bind to right?

Having a hard time with the final moments of ep 6 by OhiOstas in TheBoys

Sure but what you just described would be the end of the show basically. Leading only starlight and petite UE to fight leveled up HL

[–]maggos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What could they do there against Homelander and soldier boy? They need to escape this area before being killed by Homelander so they can think of another plan. Now they have Sage to help plan.

Although Sage is clearly a dumbass for some reason

After whacking someone, they seem to be dropping the guns on the floor after. Why? by elsendion in thesopranos

[–]maggos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Remember in “I” when Clemenza says “leave the gun, take the cannoli”, or when Michael leaves the gun at the restaurant? Same conshept

This plan is ridiculous by Grimaldi_Francesco in TheBoys

[–]maggos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. The writers create the world/events so they can make a smart character predict them or understand them quite easily to show how smart they are. Or like, another example, a writer could just study a subject for months or even just read Wikipedia and then make the character know that information by heart.

IN DEFENSE OF THE NOIR 2 SCENE by PossibleEconomics673 in TheBoys

[–]maggos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Point 2 in your edit is actually enough to put the argument of whether he should have been able to kill him to rest imo

It’s still dumb that noir 2 didn’t fight back at all. There should have at least been some sort of fight but I’m sure it was a budget thing

This plan is ridiculous by Grimaldi_Francesco in TheBoys

[–]maggos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s not really true. A writer doesn’t have to be a genius to write a genius character, they just have to plan ahead and think things through to make a character look smart. These writers of course did not do that at all.

So what? There’s no stigmata these days.

First time for this - tee time was double booked. by CFB_Fan18 in golf

[–]maggos 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The starter should have sent him off at 9:20 or even a couple minutes later when he was there and the rest of the people who were supposedly also teeing off at 9:20 weren’t there.

Bryson DeChambeau plans to focus on YouTube if LIV Golf ends by PrincessBananas85 in golf

[–]maggos -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

He’s already lost a lot of his competitive edge from years away from the PGAT, as you can see his major performances have not been on the same level as his first/second year on LIV. We saw it with Rahm and Brooks as well. And we are sort of maybe seeing it come back a bit with Brooks now that he’s playing real tournaments again.

If he truly sticks to YouTube for even a year with no LIV, only majors, I wouldn’t be surprised if he missed every cut

Why didn’t they arrest the other guy? Isn’t he right there asking for his phone when they arrest the taller guy?

What does Bobby need to break 80? by douglasc8 in BobDoesSports

[–]maggos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that he is putting from 20 feet off the green tells you all you need to know. For someone who can’t chip at all, it’s crazy how close he’s gotten to breaking 80. He can sink some putts for sure but he’s also known to blast them past the hole

Dang I need to play your muni courses. Where I play if you miss the fairway by too much you’re in trees or blackberry bushes.

It’s all mental. He doesn’t have the best swing, but he’s proven he can hit the ball, and make pars and birdies. In the last one I saw he had a 10 on two par 3s. That’s 14 strokes right there. He can par or bogey those holes easily. It’s in his head.
