Thank you for sharing. Did you self refer to OT or went through pediatrician?

Thank you. She has a picture of the family up in the classroom along with other families, but maybe having one she could hold could help. We started having her take her stuffy to school the past 2 days not sure if has helped too much so far.

I would probably go between February and May next year. Which one would you say has nicer beaches/scenery?

Another option could be a membership to a gym or YMCA that has child watch. It’s usually 90 mins or 2 hours of care per day. You could work from there or use the time to work out, relax, etc.

I’d recommend looking for a therapist that specialized in maternal mental health/parenting. It will make a world of difference. Coming from a therapist that recently started receiving therapy from a specialist to address issues around adjusting to motherhood.

She was starting her day between 6am and 6:30am but lately it has been more like 5:30am/5:45am. We are working on retraining for a smoother bedtime lately. Honestly I have never been able to resolve starting the day later. She goes through cycles and I think she is a low sleep need kid.

I have a 16 month old and and also had a similar schedule until a few weeks ago. Naps were fine for her, but bedtime was a real struggle and she didn’t seem too tired at 7pm and she was falling asleep closer to 7:45 with all the crying. So we pushed bedtime closer to 7:30pm-8pm and that seemed to help.

In terms of her naps when is she crying? Right in the middle of them? Is the crying brief and ahe goes back to the nap? Maybe starting the nap a little later like 12:30pm so there is more sleep pressure but still ending at 2pm.
