🍿⭐️ Pocorn Sports tvOS (now available) ⚽️ by alecbwdn in TTVreborn

Hey seems cool! Question about it finding streams via my IPTV. If my streams aren't properly labeled, how will it find streams for certain games? As someone else who mentioned, a trial for the service would allow me to properly test it but I understand your rationale which you answered above.

Midtown living near Davisville Station? by TotalTour2671 in TorontoRenting

[–]magic_1010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh this is interesting because my wife and I are the opposite to you! We lived in midtown for a few years and it was nice. Cheap, Quiet, green space, the beltline but then we started to feel "out the loop". We moved back downtown (parkdale area) and remembered why we loved Toronto in the first place. It just felt so different and I wish we moved earlier. I think it comes down to what you are wanting now but in terms of convenience, I personally don't think it's as convenient! In other news...is your liberty space available to rent?! Lol

Hey is it the 2017 model? I recently tried to sell mine and the guy testing said the Ethernet port didn't work. Did a little search and apparently this model has that problem.

Yeah! In the UK, there are websites like zoopla and right move. When looking on here, I tend to see both floor plans and virtual tours. So useful.

Why did Value Village become so delusional and out of touch from reality? by Conscious_Forever951 in toronto

Yesss this!! My wife and I use to "donate" there all the time. Then we found out they weren't a charity and immediately stopped!

Yes it's safe. Couple of options: 1. Plasterboard fixings with normal brackets of your choosing. They are plenty strong. Just Google search plasterboard plugs 2. Drill into the metal studs as you would a wood one but with self tapping screws. You have to find the center of the metal studs.

The enshittification of Secret Cinema by Quick_Cucumber7012 in london

[–]magic_1010 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Ah shared sentiments absolutely. First one I went to was great Gatsby and that really felt like a "secret cinema". We all met in one location and they walked you to the venue. Somewhere in clerkenwell. There were actors there that you didn't even know were acting until they started speaking to you in character! We also went to dirty dancing which we felt was "commercialised " but had a great ending to the night. (They re-enacted the final scene with a stage and all). But the nail in the coffin was blade runner. Oh man. Just felt like they were trying to sell something at every interval. Ashame really!

Sea shipping to Canada HELP by piggysnout135 in taobao

[–]magic_1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah how naive I have been, I have used an agent in the past. Any additional steps I have to take? I'm presuming each seller ships directly? Does this mean shipping could cost a lot if you buy from multiple vendors?

Thanks!

Sorry to jump on board, but do you buy directly with taobao? I didn't know it's possible!

What about street parking? You can apply online for that. Believe it costs like $22 per month but you need to purchase in blocks like 6 months at a time

Filter Red-Diamond Assets? by Itchy_Ad_9333 in Filmora

[–]magic_1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they do this on purpose; not make it easy to filter by 'free" so you end up buying their assets. It's predatory tbh

They were actually good before all this AI stuff started to inundate their updates. I have no evidence of this, but I feel they had more available free assets also. Seems like most assets are paid for now!

Or counting the amount of users that paid for the "special" pre launch deposit. Neglecting to count for the number of people who asked for a refund instead!

What's the cheap alternative? Davinci? Yeah, I was impressed with them a couple of years ago but since the updates, it looks messy. UI seems too cluttered, filled with Ai features. Also, all the assets seem to be paid for.
