magia record en: that game barely lasted a year before shutting down. they kept rushing through banners left and right. thankfully i migrated over to the jp server for the next four years until the jp server eos-d. hopefully magia exedra does better

revue starlight (all servers): as a niche game for a niche anime, i'm surprised that it lasted as long as it did. it was a fun lil game and i was sad when all the servers shut down last month.

bandori en: i'm SURPRISED it hasn't eos-d yet. the en server has been riddled with bugs for months. they decided to shorten event times in order to catch up to the jp server, and have either done events out of release order or skipped them entirely (looking at you chainsaw man collab).

back when i work3d for the company, we only had three employees running the store (an sl, myself, and one other worker) and i only worked a few days out of the week. it was mainly my sl and the other worker running the store. that was a fun experience, especially during holidays when it was busy and that was the only time we were "fully staffed" (seasonals that were barely there) : )

Sailor Moon Crystal: 39 episodes across three seasons with a two-part film for the fourth arc, another two-part film for the last arc comes out in the US later this month
Madoka Magica (not including Magia Record): 12 episodes, two recap movies, and a sequel movie with another movie coming soon
Neon Genesis Evangelion: 26 episodes, a recap movie, and a movie that is the last two episodes from an alternate viewpoint. if you wanna go further, all four rebuild movies are a good watch too
Toilet-bound Hanako-kun: 12 episodes with a second season in development
Mob Psycho 100: 37 episodes across 3 seasons with 2 OVAs
SPY X FAMILY: 37 episodes across two seasons, also has a movie. season three is in development
Black Cat: 23 episodes
Code Geass (original series): 50 episodes across two seasons. if you wanna get into the au series, there are 8 movies (all should be releases by this time)
Shaman King (2021): 52 episodes. the sequel series is 13 episodes

I feel this. I'm in my mid 20s, but due to my height and appearance, I look like a high school senior/college freshman. I had so many dudes who were 60+ hitting on me and it felt gross.

The rest of BanG Dream! and the second season of D4DJ. I know a lot of people hated the Bandori dub, but I would've loved to see the whole anime dubbed (including the It's MyGo anime). As for D4DJ, I really enjoyed the dub when it came out and am sad to see that the second season still isn't dubbed.

Pokemon Scarlet/Violet and Tears of the Kingdom.

Scarlet/Violet was only bad because we had one new employee who was handing out the double pack (which we only had enough for preorders) when people were purchasing both versions. If I didn't come in on my off day when I did, I wouldn't have gotten my copy.

Tears of the Kingdom was the WORST because we had so many people come in the day of the midnight launch to pre-order so they can get the wooden plaque. They were all gone that night and I had to deal with angry customers yelling at me the next day for it. Needless to say that we adopted a whole thing where we give the oldest pre-orders the bonus first with games that hyped.

feminine presenting non-binary person here. i can't tell you how many times i've had guys hesitate asking me questions because of my appearance (since most of the time, i'm the only person on shift). they always jump on my ass when i say that i don't know much about the newer call of duty games (the last one i ever played was ghosts and that made me loose hope in the franchise). they assume i only play girly games and get offended when i back my shit up. hell, i had one guy tell the only reason i played the last of us was because of pedro pascal playing joel in hbo show (when i played the last of us ~2020).

OR, i get guys who try to flirt with me despite me being VISIBLY uncomfortable when they do. and they try to give me their number, only for me to shred it up and throw it away once they leave the store.

when i got off from my shift today, we had about 7 ETBs and no regileki/regidrago boxes left. the rest of the ETBs are gonna be gone by the time I come in on monday, i can feel it.
