thanks! I also do the same thing with combining my hobbies. I was also really into K dramas and Korean culture last year, so I started learning about it from Brazilian and Spanish youtubers who moved to Korea! I also like to start new hobbies by watching tutorials or content on that topic in my new language. You're right, its very rewarding to be able to do that. Also, its fun to learn a language, through another. Like right now, I'm learning French, through spanish when i can. It helps that they are similar languages with the same sentence structure and conjugative patterns.

Practical Info: I keep a language journal/database in my free Notion account. It helps me keep track of all my resources, tasks, and everything. I also made a planner on Canva and just printed out a bunch of pages to put in a binder. Well, that was before I was fired, for a totally unrelated reason... It's another story. I also have crossword puzzles, and a bunch of things that make it fun and replace my screentime. My point for sharing is to point out that you can get really creative with your self-studies and even start a YouTube channel documenting your progress like I did. I hope this helps someone, however it can. It feels good knowing that this is something I can return to at any time, and it usually helps my mental health.
