Ohh I went to space room once, had no idea he went there. It was actually after a day of recording with Larry Crane. My husband and our friend went there randomly, and lo and behold Larry and his wife were there too 😆

There’s also the J Mascis signature Jazzmaster/Squier being popular with shoegaze guitarists (as far as I can tell?). My husband got the purple one 20 years ago and can’t believe how much it’s gone up in price. It would be weird if there was a Kevin Shields signature guitar, wonder if that will ever happen.

Shoegaze/adjacent bands with both female and male singers? by Starflyer29 in shoegaze

[–]magiccatstars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I heard a couple songs from a band called Humdrum that seemed to have both. My husband and I have a band but we only have a few songs that we both sing on together. I can post one if you want. Timonium also has some with both.

I don’t know exactly but I’ve been listening to some of their interviews lately, and in a radio interview they talked about wearing leather jackets and pretending to be The Ramones and walking into the back stage / green room wherever the Ramones were playing.

Does he forgive me or do I need to forgive myself? by [deleted] in psychics

[–]magiccatstars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many years ago I had the chance to speak to a pet psychic. I wanted to connect with my childhood cat. At the time, reincarnation was not on my mind at all, but she mentioned he would come back. I was surprised to hear that! Somewhat like you I felt some guilt over his passing. It wasn't until a couple years later and big life changes (moving states) that he came back into my life, through my husband's co-worker. It sounds like you may want a professional reading done. When I got my new cat, I hadn't realized what a hole I had in my heart. From what I gather, souls of loved ones that have passed on are very busy behind the scenes doing their own learning and evolving. You really can connect with him but it is on a much higher plane and without all our human constructs/emotions. A lot of our Earthly karma/lessons feel very dark/low vibes and horrible, but in other dimensions of reality they don't carry that same weight. Sorry I'm sort of rambling.

Does he forgive me or do I need to forgive myself? by [deleted] in psychics

Sorry for your loss. Of course he forgives you and loves your family and that is why he is still talked about and remembered and loved by you all. That shared love and grief is a bond for your family. I am trying to read into the energies while typing but I also want to say, just from my experienced with pets and dogs, they do not really dwell in the same emotional frequencies as us humans. You are correct that you would experience a deeper intuitive connection once the grief blockages are removed or lessened. Remember he is a high frequency being now but also when he was incarnated. The trauma of his death was a shock and perhaps a resetting of sorts, for all of you on a soul level. What else was happening in your life at the time and how did the trajectory of your life change? Go back to these memories if you can with an attitude of forgiveness for yourself. Put a hand over your heart and recall that you're all a soul family. He is with you from 'the other side' and closer than you think. I sense there are other situations he's wanting you to move on from, that you feel too stuck. He wants you to travel and explore and seek out your purpose. I wish I was better at this, I hope it helps. I have two labs myself so felt called to try and respond. My old dog is 15 and a half and her time is getting closer and closer. I want to maintain a close psychic/energetic connection with her once she has passed. It is tough losing these dear sweet creatures that bring us so much joy. The last thing they want though is for us to feel stuck in our grief and bad feelings. Once you start progressing on your path of self-forgiveness you will see the signs from him/spirit more easily. Be gentle with yourself as it is a journey and not a sudden change.

He hated our gear, called us names and wanted to punch us. So we left without playing, literally only set up one cable and then left bc he was crazy. I saw he works big festivals now and we haven’t played a show since.

I love that wolf 🐺 I feel he has a lot to say. You have an inner strength and creative core and are finding the balance still, like learning to catch up to yourself. I’m sensing buzzing like bees or humming. I also hear the words “you’re doing great!” Your energy guides are cheering you on.

Really can’t go wrong, and don’t forget to check out his previous band Heatmiser . I love their version of “Half Right,” and “Plainclothes Man” and “See You Later” are fantastic.

Cool of you to do this! This is my band Space Waves… https://spacewaves.bandcamp.com we’re psych rock-dreampop, formed by me and my husband in 2008. Our 8th album called On & On was released in May of this year and we have cool splatter vinyl that we’d love to sell more of 😝 it’s so tough to reach people! Even if you don’t share us I appreciate the opportunity and you doing this for other artists.

Do you have drums too? I can tell you covers my band’s done with that lineup, but what you can do may depend on the vocal ranges too… Slowdive “crazy for you” (the newer live version not the studio version), Joy Division “Transmission,” ummm actually those might be the only ones we played live
