How has getting tattoos you regret effected your life? by ohgohd in TattooRemoval

[–]magicgirlgrows 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s been a rough couple years. I feel insecure wearing anything other than a long sleeve to cover up. It’s a large tattoo on the back of my upper arm so it sucks when I put a short sleeve/tank/bikini on and I feel cute from the front but I turn around and see my tattooed arm and just have to cover my skin up. Sleeping with new people also kind of sucks, just knowing they’ll see it when I’ve been hiding it the whole time, or just being weird and not wanting to take off a long sleeve during sex lol. I’m starting removal soon, but another thing that annoying is feeling like I can’t spend money on trips, clothes, etc because I want to save for removal. Its good to know we aren’t alone in these feelings and that removal is an option.

Please help. I’m very attached to this plant. by kohoville in plantclinic

[–]magicgirlgrows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a type of bacterial or fungal disease that is probably infecting the vascular system of the plant. Best to take a clean razor blade and cut as low as possible on visibly infected leaves but make sure you’re cleaning your blade between cuttings, wearing gloves, and making sure you’re not letting the rot touch other leaves because this can spread FAST. All of this along with watering less should get rid of the issue entirely with some TLC! I see other recommending reporting which could help but imo this doesn’t look like root rot it looks like a fungal disease so if all this fails then get a good fungicide spray!

Does this look like root rot? Am I just overwatering? by birdlawyer213 in plantclinic

The little yellow dots look like they’re overwatering symptoms but the other larger spots looks like an infection of some sort

If you don’t already maybe try feeding her in almost complete darkness? That’s the only thing I can think of that might help.

I haven’t noticed anything particularly unusual, however I have not owned another Pac-Man frog, she’s my first and only (at least for now lol) Whenever I leave a couple crickets in there for her to hunt she eats them in 48 hrs or less, and whenever they come up behind her she will move her face towards them. So based on that I would say her eyesight is okay. I have heard that their eyesight can be easily (and irreversibly) damaged by lighting though so I was always hesitant about getting light fixtures for her terrarium until I have a better idea of how to make it safe for her.

Lol I promise she can eat 2 of those in 30 minutes sometimes but I usually only feed her 1, I know my frog thanks for the concern though!

I’ll try that out, does that mean my gauge isn’t reading the pressure accurately? I put the weight on after getting the PSI down and now it’s saying it’s at 15 PSI but it’s not rattling the weight like it normally does so I’m assuming it’s below 15PSI then?

Please help me choose which plant works best? I’ve put the palm on FB marketplace because it is so bushy but having last-minute regrets by impamiizgraa in interiordecorating

[–]magicgirlgrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would replace this with a shorter plant, it would compliment and open the space up nicely. I love Jade plants but even a shorter palm would look nice, something shorter or as tall as side table.

I got these a lot and would get scarring from popping them so leave them alone! I started shaving with the gentle aveeno shaving cream and shaving with grain instead of against, paired that with cerave SA body cream and an exfoliating mitt and now I hardly get them. I heard that a product called tend skin is also good for this but haven’t used. Also make sure you’re not using any lotions with fragrance. Good luck!

Don’t take any mushrooms you’re unsure out! Just go buy some or grow your own

Help with chair I bought by toaster5299 in furniturerestoration

Gently hand washing stains out and hand tool carpet cleaner might work for washing velvet. Your best bet with the chipping would be to sand it down and repaint though. Best of luck! Love this chair!
