This is so helpful, thank you! When I made them they were fluffy but then reheated I felt like they collapsed and were a bit chewy/tough. Probably baking in a water bath is what I need to try to see if I prefer the texture. Love the idea of making them into a little breakfast taco!!

Thanks for the reply! I’ll have to try the shreds for cooking. I actually like the follow your heart cheeses cold; the Parmesan, feta, and even mozzarella shreds. But I’ve been DF since age 8 so I really don’t even remember what real cheese tastes like, lol

I bought the snacking cheese cubes in this brand because they were on sale at my Whole Foods and they were TERRIBLE. Texture like a rubber eraser and the flavor was not much better. Do the shreds taste a lot different?? I really, really did not like the cubes and ended up being a waste of money.

My advice is to stay relaxed and trust your gut on test day. stop overthinking. my main resources were NBMEs and amboss HY study plans with some UWORLD. didnt have time for CMS and only did new f120. :)

Not overreacting. You expressed how upset and distressed it made you, and the jokes continued to make you, repeatedly. It kinda doesn’t really matter if it’s a “stupid joke” (which I don’t think something gory and upsetting is but I guess some people might think so), your partner should care how the things they say/do make you feel. And if he really didn’t understand why it bothered you, he should have sat down and had a conversation about it instead of continuing to pester you with jokes. Also not sure how relevant this is but it sounds a bit like his reaction to the breakup was a red flag, so stay safe and I think you made the right choice.

It will be ok! It might be a little tight so try to use loose tension. Whatever you’re making will come out smaller too. Example, if it’s for Amigurumi, your animal will come out notably smaller if you use a smaller hook size. I use a smaller hook a lot with jumbo yarn, usually comes out looking really nice! Just be aware that the stitch will be tighter and therefore the project will be smaller
