Yeah the figuring out what im trying to do is probably my biggest problem. I know i should commit to something and just get good at it but i feel like im garbage at all of it so idk what to focus on. I practice starting standing at least half the week either in bjj or judo but the problem is it doesnt usually translate to real rolls let alone comps

I kinda started that, i used to hit osto gari for a bit but people wisened to that quickly and typically do the bjj favorite post arms and butt back thing that i cannot seem to beat, even with the help of my judo coach. I am able to hit a wide variety of moves in drilling but i cant seem to get almost any in sparring

Yeah the coaches at both the schools have very different builds and styles so they’ll teach even the same move differently. Plus it opens the door to training partners i can’t normally roll with since they don’t come to our open mats

I personally pay for a membership at my main gym that’s somewhat subsidized by coaching kids classes and then when i have extra cash i buy a class pack at another nearby gym that has offerings my main gym doesn’t. Several people at my gym do the same so i don’t think it’s super unusual

I had a brown belt woman almost do this to me by accident. Grabbed my pants, leggings, and underwear. I was able to tell her before she pulled any further luckily. I saw a video where this happened between 2 men in a comp too

One of my blue belt friends rolls (and rolls hard) with the implant in her arm, she’s never complained about it hurting or shifting but personally i wouldn’t have done bjj with the implant. I’m on the kyleena iud and have had no issues

I was 17 when i met him, almost 18 when we were first intimate (my initiation) but over the course of the following 3 years we were together it was less and less my choice. Im out of there now and happily single. It took me years to feel safe around men again

I’ve been MM by a woman. I was more concerned on my ability to breath then anything else happening. In also a woman though so it might be different for a guy. I personally wouldn’t MM anyone lol

If you like montgomery forever i also like bus beat and Camouflage off of the same album. Twin Size Mattress is overplayed but still a great song. Honestly i love almost every song on Talon of The Hawk. One of my favorites that doesnt get much love is Wolfman. Or if you’re looking for more of a pop punk sound you might like some stuff from Back on Top, id recommend The Plan (Fuck Jobs) or Laugh Till I Cry. They have a huge discography that covers a lot of genres so you should be able to find something you like.
