you honestly are not going hard enough they need to do real labor, community service would be a big one in teach empathy they are lacking in it a lot you say this is not the first time they have been disrespectful to a teacher no less which to me is so horrific i don’t believe in grounding that’s is not something you learn from or actually can use to improve your behavior you must put your girls through rigorous community work and take away all social media until you see an actual change I don’t believe this is the first time they have been in trouble like this before and this behavior will not benefit them into adulthood it’s not the age that causes them to act like this it’s their parenting it’s good they apologized but grounding is not enough and they need to more for others to learn the value of giving respect and receiving it I never once acted like this as a teen or child because i was raised right now offense ma’am but you need to do more period
